The HC-18 commercial steam generator has an 18-kilowatt power rating and can power steam baths with dimensions between 620 to 740 adjusted cubic feet (ACF).
The HC-18 unit comes with an 18kW industrial-grade heating element, a pressurized vessel for instant steam production, durable electronic components, a DCCP digital control package, and a variety of other features.
Steamist HC Series steam generators are virtually maintenance-free and designed for hands-off, automated operation. HC Series generators are UL-listed and comply with ASME requirements to ensure safety and quality. All HC units are delivered factory wired and assembled to assure that your generator is working perfectly.
The Steamist HC-18 commercial steam boiler includes the DCCP digital control package which allows facility operators to remotely program steam room temperature, shower duration, weekly operating schedules, and power settings. Each additional steam room requires the use of the available SRP second room package.
The Steamist HC-18 is available in 208V single-phase (61801), 208V three-phase (61803), 240V single-phase (61800), 240V three-phase (61802), and 480V three-phase (61804) configurations.
We recommend the addition of the available Steamist DC-ABD Digital Automatic Blowdown Valve with the HC18. The DC-ABD Automatic Blowdown Valve automatically drains the boiler tank to prevent harmful calcification and lime build-up. The Valve includes a 24-hour clock that allows club operators to preset drain times.

The optional Steamist ASME Blow-down Tank meets ASME code and is designed to safely augment the blowdown process.

Installs into drain line as an alternative to a blowdown tank for tempering hot blowdown water. Injects cold tap water when thermal actuator senses blowdown water over 120°F. As blowdown water cools, valve reduces cold inlet flow. At approximately 110°F cold inlet is fully closed.
